Job Details:

  • Full Time – Salary
  • 1st Shift       5:00am – 3:30pm (Monday – Thursday)

Basic Job Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate and manage entire plant and its staff in such a manner as to ensure that all company objectives and production goals are continually met
  • Review overall operation and processes and identify areas for improvement for all functions
  • Be able to offer recommendations for improvement and be able to successfully implement changes
  • Ensure an effective maintenance program for machinery and the facility is in place and adhered to
  • Implement and maintain company quality system by providing continuous promotion, enforcement and review
  • Establish guidelines and schedules for the inspection and for conducting tests of finished goods, as well as production materials.  Collect testing results and organize for assessment and reporting purposes.  Review data and make recommendations to improve quality standards and/or minimize waste
  • Review current procedural steps, policies, and decision-making techniques and provide necessary instruction to staff to ensure the achievement of goals and standards
  • Act as Food Safety Team co-lead with QA Manager
  • Identify areas of improvement and coordinate with President to address these matters.  Once identified, implement change to ensure that staff understands their appropriate roles and expectations
  • Provide direction and oversight of an internal or external audit
  • Ensure that staff strictly adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and procedures
  • Report to the President

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to use a computer to enter data
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in production or manufacturing management with responsibility over multiple departments
  • Experience in quick turnaround, fast-paced manufacturing
  • Experience in quality control and root cause analysis
  • Experience with converting machines
