Job Details

  • Full Time – Hourly
  • 1st shift, 7am – 3pm (Monday – Friday)
    • Starting pay: $15 – $17 per hour, based on experience

Basic Job Duties:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for receiving raw materials into the system, creating pallet tags and labeling the pallets. The Inventory Clerk will also be responsible for verifying the materials and packaging lists. The Inventory Clerk will also be responsible for processing consumable orders and providing feedback to Customer Service with any discrepancies.

  • Accurately receive and enter materials into Inventory System and create pallet tags – attach pallet tags accurately to pallets.
  • Verify that materials received are in accordance to the packing list – report any discrepancies to Manager / Customer Service.
  • Pull PO’s as material arrives, write material info onto PO/job jacket – make necessary copies and distribute
  • Process consumable orders and communicate to Purchasing/Customer Service.
  • Conduct monthly/bimonthly inventories per customer request.
  • Reconcile completed jobs in WILMA and Syteline.
  • Process outgoing Shipping orders and verify accuracy.
  • Ship UPS/FedEx shipments including samples.
  • Complete Finished Goods Inventory as needed.
  • Assist Inventory Specialist and serve as backup.
  • Unload trucks as needed.
  • Move material to storage and to machines as needed.
  • Operate within the Standard Operating Procedures and Food Safety Standards at all times.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures with regard to operating a forklift and handling the dock locks and dock door systems.
  • Other duties / special assignments as requested by the Shipping/Receiving Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; Associates Degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in Shipping & Receiving or Material Handling operating forklifts
  • Experiences with ERP/SAP systems a plus
